Cardano News Today 😳ADA 1000% User Growth in 1 Year, 2022 Roadmap
Cardano has seen massive growth year over year now reporting more than 3 million registered wallets. This is a 1000% growth, in just one year.
With growth and adoption this fast, there was bound to be issues. The team believes they’ll be able to correct the congestion issues we’ve been seeing in recent months, with numerous updates released throughout 2022.
They recently released their roadmap which shows numerous updates including the most recent to increase the block size by 11%. The team claims this will enable the network to carry out more transactions and level down on issues that are associated with heavy traffic.
A future update will increase the Plutus script memory units per transaction. Plutus is the smart contracts platform for Cardano which allows developers to create applications and new tokens in a lightweight environment.
